Doggie Etiquette
Dry As A Bone – If your dog is dripping wet they probably won’t be welcome in many places. If you plan a spot of lunch with your dog after a bracing walk, pack a towel…you know it makes sense.
Run On Empty – No matter how well trained you dog may be please remember that being in a new place with new scents may prove too irresistible. Make sure you take a doggie toilet break before you shop.
Mind Your Mutt – being allowed to shop with your dog is great, but don’t get distracted, keep an eye on your dog, to make sure he is not wrapping his lead around a display or another customer. Also remember your dog has a tail so no excessive tail wagging.
Lock It Up – If you use an extendable lead, make sure it is locked on a short length inside and shop, restaurant or pub, also while crossing roads or around large groups of people.
Mouth Off – Unless you are in a pet shop which allows for treat testing or toy testing, keep your dog’s mouth off the merchandise.
